PECAN+ is a collaborative initiative requiring support from across the cyber security ecosystem. Higher education institutions across Australia host and run local events. University students create cyber security challenges, mentor and provide training day workshops. Teachers to rally their students to form teams and support development of cyber skills. Industry representatives provide mentorship, presentations and valuable insights to competitors. PECAN+ Sponsors provide support, funding, prizes, giveaways and industry relevant representation.
We also rely on extensive IT infrastructure to deliver the Competition, including use of Microsoft Azure, KASM Workspaces, GitHub Codespaces, CTFd and Discord.
